"Mimétisme relatif"

From Photographs of women for calendars.
– Dorothée Selz poses and is being photographed as the
"pin-ups"
– She draws with China ink, on a B&W impression, objects that her model wears or is surrounded by (Leather boots, lamppost…)
– She creates a diptych with both women, the model + herself
– She puts around the diptych a frame worked "like" a pastry
Relative mimicry is a humorous proposition about the fascination and/or the reject of looking like the "seducing woman" model.
